As well as producing the artwork and print for Waitrose I also work with several large brands such as ©Cadburys and ©Coca-Cola which require working within brand guidelines. Waitrose, the John Lewis Partnership’s food retailer, became the first supermarket chain to be granted the Royal Warrant by the Queen, which means that there are occasions where my work is sent to Buckingham Palace for approval.

I have been a full time senior designer at Waitrose for over 5 years, with responsibilities including the day to day production of the website and management of the team of designers.

My working is used over various marketing mediums to generate promotional and informative emails - which are sent to over 1.5million Waitrose customers weekly. The various marketing formats include – website, mobile, social media, digital marketing and print work.

When the first business set up, Mug & Brew required print work and marketing material, so using their existing logo and colour scheme, I designed their loyalty cards, promotional vouchers as well as their advertising flyers

Belles wanted a brand-new website with mobile optimisation, they also needed access to the site for regular pricing updates and offers, so a user-friendly backend system was suggested along with training on use. With the new website complete print work was also required to follow through the branding and theme, so new price lists and a complete redesign of the gift cards were created.

High 5 are a running club who had a clear vision of what they wanted and they needed my help to turn it into a reality. Their main aim was to improve their online presence and create a logo to attract more members. Since the improvements High 5 now has over 800+ members across the Berkshire area and their new logo has been used on their merchandising including banners, medals and t-shirts to create their Hi 5 Army.
